The story
You were born running code you didn’t write.
Beliefs about money, love, fear, and what you’re worth got installed before you were old enough to argue. You’ve been running them ever since, and so has almost everyone you know.
I didn’t meet my father until I was twenty-one. I swore I’d never become that kind of father, and then watched distance come between me and my sons, not once but twice. I walked away from a job on principle with no plan, spent years on odd jobs and DoorDash, and ended up sleeping in my car. Then I rebuilt.
What Chapter Are You In? uses programming as a plain-spoken lens for the patterns that run your life. Every chapter opens with a woodcut illustration and ends with a Move.
I’m not a guru talking down. I’m a father a few steps down the same road, still in the middle of my own rewrite.
So, what chapter are you in?
